Movie Reviews

Privacy Policy

I run this site to write about movies, K-dramas, and Asian TV — not to collect your data. I don’t personally collect, log, or store any personal information about visitors.

However, because this site runs on the modern web and displays ads to help keep the lights on, certain third-party services do process technical data.

Here is exactly how it works, written in plain English.

1. Web Hosting (Netlify)

This website is a static site built with Hugo and hosted by Netlify.

Like almost every web server on earth, Netlify automatically collects and logs basic technical information when your browser requests a page. This includes things like your IP address, browser type, and the time of your visit. Netlify uses this data purely for security, system administration, and to ensure the site loads quickly and safely. I do not have access to your personal identity through this.

2. Advertising (Google AdSense)

This site uses Google AdSense to display ads.

Google may use cookies and web beacons to serve ads based on your prior visits to this website or other websites on the internet. Google’s use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads to you based on your visit to this site and/or other sites on the Internet.

  • How to opt out: You can choose to opt out of personalized advertising by visiting Google Ads Settings.
  • Alternatively, you can opt out of a third-party vendor’s use of cookies for personalized advertising by visiting www.aboutcookies.org.

3. What I Don’t Do

  • I do not run an email newsletter list (for now).
  • I do not sell, rent, or trade any personal information to data brokers.
  • I do not use personal analytics tracking scripts.

4. Your Rights

If you are visiting from the EU, UK, or anywhere with strict data privacy laws (like GDPR or CCPA), please note that I do not collect or hold any personal data that could identify you. Your tracking preferences are entirely in your hands through your browser settings and the Google ad settings linked above.
